Free LinkedIn Profile Optimizer

The About section is where a recruiter decides whether the rest of your profile is worth reading. Paste yours here and Pass ATS Resume runs the checks a good editor would: Does it open with who you are? Does it carry evidence? Does it use the vocabulary your target role is screened for? Then it drafts a stronger version — out of your own sentences only.

Used to check your About against the skills that role is screened for. Nothing is added that you didn’t write.

How it works

Five structural checks run on any About section: substance, opening line, real evidence (numbers you actually have), first-person register, and a closing invitation. Add a target role and it also compares your text against that role’s screened skill list — showing which terms you already use and which never appear. The draft reorders your sentences so evidence leads, polishes wording, and adds exactly one line — your stated target — if your original had no closing invitation.

Honest limits

This is a text review, not a ranking promise: no tool can tell you LinkedIn’s search weighting, and anyone who guarantees profile views is guessing. What is checkable is the text itself — and text is the part you control. Also note the optimizer works on the About section you paste; it cannot see your experience entries, headline, or photo.

Frequently asked questions

Does this rewrite my profile for me?
It drafts from your sentences — reordered so your strongest material leads, lightly polished — and it shows you the checks so you can see why. It never adds an employer, credential, or achievement. Treat the draft as a starting point and edit anything that reads bigger than your real experience back down.
What happens to my pasted text?
Nothing leaves your browser. The review runs on this device; the paste is never uploaded, stored, or used to train anything.
Where do the 'missing keywords' come from?
From the same curated skill lists the skills suggester uses — the skills each role is commonly screened for. If your About never mentions one, it's listed. Add only the ones that are true of you, inside a sentence about real work; a keyword pile at the bottom fools no one and reads badly.
My target role isn't recognized. What then?
The structural checks (opening, evidence, length, invitation) still run in full. Only the keyword coverage is skipped, and the tool says so rather than inventing a list for an unmapped role.
